This is based on a Barry Harris method. Adding chromatic passing tones to every note of any 7 note scale. This is really great for your ears and linear vocabulary. Working on the major scale or mixolydian scale first is a great starting point. The 12 note scale can be played in all it’s modes – the pattern remains the same.
