Bootleg “Body and Soul”

Anthony Pinciotti, a friend and great drummer passed away last year and I found this bootleg of us playing the standard “Body and Soul” together. This also features the composer and bassist Alexis Cuadrado and Chuck MacKinnon on Trumpet (unfortunately I don’t have the entire track with Chuck’s fantastic solo). It was recorded in Brooklyn at a Club in Bed-Stuy in around 2002. Playing 8th notes with Anthony always felt amazing, he had a great feel and an even 8th note when playing straight 8ths really helping to propel the entire band.
