This video is is an extension of lesson 130. here I’m just practicing a simple 4-3 suspension on each cord in the standard have you met Ms Jones. I’m using a natural four or 11 on every cord and the appropriate third. on major and dominant chords I’m using a major third, and on minor chords I’m using a minor third. again, the 11 or four will always be natural. I’m using a loose rhythm in this exercise. so, in this version I’m improvising the rhythm and trying to keep the short melodic phrase clear and musical.
